Dave and I have the EXACT.SAME.PROBLEM. with his dirty clothes. I finally told him "If you're clothes are dirty put them in the hamper. If they're not in the hamper I assume they are clean and I won't wash them." He once went an entire month without jeans because he didn't put them in the hamper. I think he got the message :)

I too have learned so much from being married...it's funny, because I could eat cereal or something for dinner daily, but not Grant. He needs a substantial meal! I sometimes am thrilled when he is out of town or just gone for the evening, because it allows me to not cook! Ha-Ha! :)

I'm with you on #1! After almost 2 years of marriage we recently upgraded to a king size bed. I now wonder how in the world we ever slept on a queen! A king size bed makes all the difference :)

So many of those are SO true! My husband and I have been married for about a year and a half and a preacher friend of ours asked us [not too long after the year mark] if we had learned how selfish we were. He said he thought that was the major lesson for year one, and we really did learn that lesson plus a lot more!
