Oh no!! I had this exact.same.thing. happen to me in my current apt! (Same feelings about this place too, hurumph.) All the shelfs feel compeltely out of the wall while I was sleeping one night--scared me to death! I'm a little embarrased to admit I left it there for quite a while. :)

The same exact thing happened to us, but, our closet rod fell in the middle of the night and my husband got up in his tighty whities to investigate the situation!!

So sorry for the huge disaster mess! Hopefully a sweet husband will help you pick it all up, since you did just reorganize!!

This made me laugh a lot! I would probaly have screamed too and then my husband would have been very annoyed that I screamed and scared him over a closet falling. Although last year the shower curtain rod in our apartment kept randomly falling. This usually happend when I was about to get into the shower. A couple of times the rod landed on my head. Not fun I'm pretty sure I screamed.

Goodness, I feel like I haven't been by your blog in a while! LOVEEEEE the new layout!!!! And oh my gosh, that happened to my closet THREE times in one year when I was in college. Our apartment complex finally told me that I had too many clothes and the problem WASN'T a faulty hanging rack. What a mess! Hope you're having a fabulous week so far!

That happened to me one time too, so I feel your pain! UGGGG! And it would be different if your closet needed a good cleaning (say, the universe was speaking to you!) but you JUST cleaned it!

I do that all the time--freak out about noises and possible home-invasions. Whenever I am home alone, I carry my cell around with me from room to room. Yes, it's paranoid. I think my low point was last week when I had no pockets in my pajamas, so I put the cell phone in my underwear. My husband made the obvious jokes about "vibrate mode," but I was seriously imagining myself on the Today show, talking about how my hidden cell phone saved my life in a kidnapping.
