So. Becca directed me over here, and I love this post. But I am waaaaay too old to be here, because my metabolism has long since vacated the building, and I can tell you now that it IS something that you need to pray for. Strongly and with great fervor. Trust me; I turn 50 this year, and if you do that with your metabolism no longer in tow, it is NOT pretty.
Seriously, I do love what you're doing for your husband. I love it for the now, and for the fact that he can TELL that you're doing it. AND, I love it for the future, when you're able to look through that journal and realize JUST how powerful prayer is. You made me smile tonight... thank you!

I actually own this book (I think...it might be the Power of a Praying Woman now that I think about it), but have yet to read it. This post definitely got me thinking though...I only pray for my husband occasionally, but should be doing it WAY more often. Thank you for the reminder!

Oh, and we don't do Vday gifts for each other, but I totally buy a box of chocolates for myself after Valentine's Day because they are on clearance!

Thanks for this mini-review. My Mom gave me that book awhile ago and I haven't started it yet. I've been wanting to and this post might just give me the push to get reading and praying. It really is powerful.

You are so stinkin' hilarious! Your last line made me laugh out loud!! I love the idea of the "tabs" and the journal...and you are SO right...when we pray specifically for our spouse, kids, etc...it is AMAZING how we see God moving and working. I just love you, Megan! I wish I was going to the "party in the overflow" so we could meet....but we'll just HAVE to meet in OKC the next time I am there. DEFINITELY!!!

I think that book is awesome and even though I read it awhile I ago it is still on my nightstand because I have specific prayers marked. The book I bought is a three in one with Power of Praying Wife, Mom, and Woman combined. Love them all!
