I miss back to school clothes shopping too! Being on a budget can be hard- I remember when I first got married- I didn't know anything about budgets. Tommy taught me everything I know. Now I actually like being on a budget- crazy I know- I think one day you will too! In 10 years most of your friends will be in thousands of dollars of debt with all kinds of stress and you and Luke will probably have no debt at all! Now that is exciting!

So, so true. Since the hubs is about to make a major career change - thus taking a major pay cut for the next 6-8 months - there were no vacation clothes for me this year.

It was a sad state, but I had to remind myself that the sacrifice will be worth it in the end.

I hate the word budget. For some reason, guys have no problem with it. It's just hard for me to commit to only spending a certain amount of $ each month...there are so many 'what ifs' that could come up. And that usually do. :)
