More than you wanted to see & a giveaway!

I've mentioned once or several times on this blog that all during high school and college I used Proactiv face cleanser.

I may or may not have started using it because my BFF Britney Spears was one of their spokespersons during my high school-I-LOVE-BRITNEY-SPEAR- FOR-LIFE days. But no matter what my reasoning was, it cleared my face up like nothing else ever could, even cream I had gotten from a dermatologist.

And then Megan graduated college, got out from under daddy and mommy and Proactiv wasn't in the budget.

Sadly, my face paid for my lack of money. While it wasn't as broken out as it was before, it still had moments where it looked pretty bad. And then I went through pregnancy and nursing and my hormones were all "LIKE WHOA" and I desperately needed something to get it under control.

I tried using various brands of face wash but nothing seemed to be working. My face had seriously not been this broken out since high school. I was a 28 year old woman dealing with acne!! Seriously??

Then my mom told me about Rodan + Fields. A skincare line that was created by the same women who created  Proactiv. This line is geared more for adults and our adult "face problems" and she thought I should use some to help get control of my face. It seemed like facial wash fate.

I started using the Unblemish system and started to see a result almost immediately. It came with a chart that told me how much to use it at first to introduce my face to it, I followed the plan and never had a problem with the system at all.

Now I'm about to do something I never thought I would do but I'm about to show you TWO pictures of me with no makeup looking like a scrub - but you can totally tell a difference in my face since I started using Unblemish.

OK deep breathes, here I go:

HOTTTTTT I know.

I feel so much better about my face. My breakouts that I would get have gone away completely and I feel like my face is so much more smooth and even. Before Rodan + Fields I always wore foundation and powder, now I feel ok just wearing powder. It has made a huge difference.

My mom uses the Reverse system and I have noticed a big difference in her face. She might kill me for showing her picture but she shouldn't have sent it to me, I think the difference is too noticeable to not show!!

Reverse has helped my mom to get rid of sun damage and dark spots. I think she looks so great!

And after looking at these pics I think we have the same eyes. I've never noticed that before.

My mom recently started selling Rodan + Fields and has a website you can check out if you are looking for clinically proven skin care directed to treat your most common skin concerns:

Anti Age
Reverse
Unblemish
Soothe

It is pretty amazing stuff!

And I also have a R+F giveaway!! I have THREE Rodan + Fields mini facials to giveaway! THe way to enter to win the mini facial is to comment below and let me know which system you think you would most like to try. I will choose the winners of the mini facial later this week!

If you have any interest in trying Rodan+Fields check out the website or email me and I can connect you with my mom!!

I don't know what's worse? That I showed pics of my face with no makeup or that I admitted that I love Britney Spears FOR LIFE?

WHOA. That's some changes! You both look great.

I've always had problem skin. Always. Pro Activ always dried me out way bad. Like peeling skin dried out. But maybe because I was an adult when I used it.

Does your Mom ship internationally??

I would love to try the Unblemish system! I turn 26 next week and, like you, never thought I would still be dealing with breakouts! Both you and your mom's skin looks great!

Wow! You both look great before but the after is awesome!! I definitely need anti age. Poor me. I think having a child has already added wrinkles in three short months! ;)

I would say the unblemish or anti age. I've heard a lot of good things about this program!

I've heard the anti age is great but I'm like you 28 and having these teenage breakouts! I'd probably start trying the unblemish.

I would definitely love to try the reverse system. Too much sun when I was a kind combined with hitting my 30's? Yeah, I need help!

Glad you found something that works! Your skin looks great. I would love to try the anti age. Skincare products are always something I never think to buy other than a moisturizer. My 32 year old skin needs some help!

Megan, you have a great skin! I bet it is from all those years of taking such good care of it! Like I said on Twitter the other day my MIL started selling this stuff in June & I was so nervous she was part of some weird pyramid scheme. Luckily, she isn't & she loves the products. I've loved what she's given me so far too! The lip balm is to die for, fyi! Thanks for sharing!

I am 28 and had horrible, awful acne as a teenager. So bad, that i had to go on Accutane. It worked, but I still have some scarring. I would live to try the unblemish!

I'd love to try the reverse! Your mom looks great! I just turned 31 yesterday and sadly, I have wrinkles. Why, oh why did 18--year-old me think that I HAD to have a super dark tan?? I'm definitely paying for it now!

Love me some Brit-Brit for life, too!

Ooooh wow! The reverse system is definitely what I'd love to try. I have a 2 month old and pregnancy seemed to keep my breakouts at bay (maybe I'm in for it soon though?!), but I have some dark spots I'd love to kick to the curb. I'd love to tell my 18 yr old self...YOU DON'T NEED TO BE TAN!

You both have had amazing results! I used Proactive for about a year and my face never looked better... but I'm prone to excema and for some reason it would cause me to break out with excema on my eye, so I had to stop. I wonder if this would have the same effect? I would definitely love to try the Unblemish system!

Laura said...

I would like to try the Unblemish system. I am 27 and still break out like I did when I was 13. I have found products that keep it somewhat under control now but I still a lot of bad days. :(

Sadly, at 30, I need to try the unblemish. Why am I still getting zits?

Jenny Rose said...

Amazing! And you're beautiful no matter what! Baby 2 sent my skin back to Jr high...actually, I was very blessed with great skin until kids. So...they all sound awesome, but as I battling another round of monster zits right now, probably the unblemish.

I would love to try Unblemish. Your pics look great!

I'm so glad you blogged about this. I just bought some super expensive stuff and its only enough for 14 uses!! I think all of them could help my skin in some way so it's hard to decide, but Reverse was the first one I gravitated towards.
