Week 37

How Far Along: 37 Weeks!!! Holy cow! Luke said this picture makes my face look more puffy than it really is. So please keep in mind when viewing.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Ha! This is comical at this point and not something I will share. Yes I'm vain. No I don't care.

Maternity Clothes: Everything about me is maternity.

Gender: BOY!! Eli Tree

Movement: Still moving around quite a bit, but lately it hasn't been great big movements. I think maybe he is running out of room.

Sleep: I get up several times throughout the night to use the restroom. So I'm not getting too much sleep.

What I miss: A good night's rest and being able to eat food without worrying about whats in it.

Cravings: Lately I have wanted tea a lot, which is weird because I've never been a big tea person.

Symptoms: Heartburn, holy mother or pearl the HEARTBURN is horrible.

Best Moment this week: Another awesome shower, getting the nursery put together and all the clothes and blankets washed, and hearing Eil's heartbeat on Monday.

And my favorite husband quote of the week:

After stepping off the scale at the doctor's office Luke told me:

"Wow, you've almost caught up to me"

Good. That was my goal.

I forgot to do my 36 week update last week and I even forgot to take a picture! I don't think I was overly busy, it just slipped my mind. I'm telling you, pregnancy brain is a real and true thing! I had no idea! I told Luke today that I feel like I live in a constant state of confusion right now, I'm always confused about something!
I have several posts in mind, we will see if my confused state of mind ever gets around to posting them!

Megan, you look beautiful! I'm sure it is hard to see the scale keep going up, but seriously you look so good! I'm sure you are no where close to Luke!

I went from 130 to 180 during my first pregnancy ... That was very difficult. It may have been even higher than 180 (I stopped looking.). BUT, I just want to give you some encouragement and hope. I lost 30 in the first week and the rest soon after. In the end, I weigh less (after 3 boys) than I did before my pregnancies. I'm NOT saying any of that to brag ... just offering some perspective. You look GREAT, and you will bounce back to that hottie in the wedding dress.

The pregnancy brain just becomes mommy brain. I went to the grocery and seriously just stared at the shelves with no idea what I was there for. I think all of the pregnancy symptoms (no sleep, loss of memory, etc) are really just to prepare you for what's to come!

You look great! Where have you gotten your maternity clothes?? Everything you wear is SO cute!

The weight will DEFINITELY come off....so don't worry! But I know that is a lot easier said than done. I had to wear Todd's coaching shorts (almost exclusively! except for church)from week 36 on in both my pregnancies. And they have an elastic waist band. And he is a big guy. BIG. It was not my proudest moment. But my kids--they are my proudest moment. :) Hang in there, girl. I think you look really great. And I simply cannot wait to see Eli!

you look great! SOOOO CLOSE! I hated pregnancy, but yet I get a sentimental when I see pregnant bellies so close to having the baby! I hated when people said this to me, because I felt huge, but really, this picture made me look at my 32 week picture (last one I had since I had Addy at 33) and I was huge compared to you! What's your secret? :)

I lost all of my weight and then some in the hospital. Don't worry too much about that. Now as far as a good night's rest go - it could be a while. Like 18 (possibly more) years. :) Sorry, I hate to be the bearer of bad news.

You look so cute! You have the cutest little baby belly! Baby Eli will be here before you know it-enjoy every minute.
You mentioned craving tea...I craved tea as well towards the end of my pregnancy with my son, I thought that was the most random craving ever!
