Wednesday Night Pizza

I have mentioned several times that I LOVE pizza.

I could eat it every night for dinner and be completely satisfied.

Lately, as we have been trying not to eat out as much, I have started making our own pizza at home. Look how good tonight's pizza turned out:

*Please disregard the burnt spots on the baking stone. It said to put some kind of powder on it, I didn't have the powder it called for, so I put flour on it, only to later read on the box: DO NOT PUT FLOUR ON STONE. I don't know why, but the burnt spots could have something to do with the warning.

YUM! It was so good! Several bloggers suggested I use wheat crust. I already had this regular crust in the pantry but I am going to buy a wheat crust next time I go grocery shopping. Plus I always use turkey peperoni's, which makes me feel somewhat healthy.

After dinner we took a movie back to the rental store, that we was about two weeks overdo.

We are 25 and can't remember to take a movie back on time. Does anybody else have this problem?

And that friends was where the excitement of our evening ended.

I spent some of the evening watching True Hollywood Story: Full House.

I am such a sucker for those THS shows. I could watch them all day.

Anybody else enjoy them?

I wish they would make one for Dawson's Creek.

I was just commenting to my husband tonight about how I miss renting movies. But since we also cannot remember to take them back on time and don't want to pay the late fees we've racked up, my movie viewing days on a whim are over...I'll have to stick with netflix!

Did I mention we only have ONE place to rent from in our small town?! So no other alternatives for me!

I've started renting from the Red Box, so if I forget to take it back, it doesn't charge me and arm and a leg. I'm rather forgetful these days.

That pizza looks DE-LISH! That's one of the items that my nurse told me not to eat. I eat veggie pizza though...she probably wouldn't count that as real pizza. That's what I'm going to keep telling myself anyway.

Yeah...I'm pretty bad with the whole returning the movie thing. We usually just pay a little extra and buy it off of cable. And...THS...yes please. Of course...the hubs thinks it is some sort of punishment so I usually have to dvr them and watch them alone. Sad. Yes.

Oh yum! Homemade pizza is the best. I also put chicken on our pizza and it's soooo good! I just get the chicken strips for fajitas that are already cooked in the lunch meat isle. You might give it a try.

Oh man! I'd so love a Dawson's THS :)

Your pizza looks delicious. I love the whole wheat crust, and I always end up eating less because it's more filling. And anytime I willingly want to eat less, that's a good thing!

That pizza looks great! I use turkey pepperoni too - so good!

Is it just me, or is it hard to read your posts? I'm just seeing the black and white design, and black text...

P and I could eat pizza everyday. Although I really need to get a pizza stone like you have. Yum, it's 9am and I could totally eat pizza right now.

Haha, I'm surprised you want a wheat crust seeing as you love white bread! :) I love pizza too, as you know...and even though he denies it, Hayden doesn't like it! ;) I have a TERRIBLE memory, that's why we do Netflix. You can keep them as long as you want with no penalty. We had Australia for TWO WEEKS and just I just mailed it off today...we never watched it. How sad! But I really want to see Marley and Me, so I had to send it back! haha

I totally watched the same THS last night!! The Olsen's my oh my how they have changed!!

And I just started making pizza at home too - I'm mainly using it as an excuse to use some herbs from my garden! :) So far - they have come out amazing!!!
